Serenity WireWrap

Icarus earrings in the shape of wings. Handmade with copper wire and blue chalcedony beads.

These ethnic earrings have been designed and handmade by me and are inspired by the Greek myth of Icarus. The stones are blue because they represent the sky.

They have been made with copper wire of 1.5 and 0.4 mm. The pieces that make up the wings have been hammered and some have been given texture.

Finally I have aged them with patina to highlight the wrap and give them an antique look.

I have decorated the earrings with 8 mm blue chalcedony beads but they can be personalised with stones of a different colour.

They are very original and very special earrings because they are inspired by a Greek myth that I love.
